Basil Genoveser has green leaves and delicate little shot. Highly fragrant herb with medium sized leaves. Loves heat. Grow on sunny, sheltered spot or under glass. Variariteit ideal for pesto. Plucking petals for fresh use and to dry.
Suitable for growing in pots. Annual, low-growing by about 30 cm, pungent herb. Sow from March under glass and in May in open ground. Plant out at 30 x 30 cm. If the plants are young, one can use the shoots (not cut too deeply). Once the stems are harder use only the leaves.
Use in pasta sauce, salads and tomatoes. Combines well with garlic.
