A very tasty vegetable, not to be confused with sprouting broccoli. Requires a warm, rich and moisture retentive soil.
Sow: under cover in March, April; outdoors in May, June. Transplanting after 4-6 weeks at 45x45 cm. Harvest: the heads with stems just before flowering in summer and autumn.
