Beautiful small watermelon from about 1.5 to 2 kg. Can best flat field grown in a greenhouse or flat tray. Insects provide pollination, make sure they can get to the flowers. Avoid too wet place, and excessive fertilization.
Sow: from mid-April to late May or sow in the greenhouse. Do not wet the ground. Seedlings from mid-May to mid-June planting. Provide adequate space.
Harvesting: The fruits may be ripe after 35 days. A dried stem is a sign of maturity. They are long lasting on the plant, they just pluck therefore best for consumption.
